Beware of placement firms who send care takers to senior citizens. I had two incidents from two separate caretakers. One stole multiple items from my moms home and the other swindled money and promised to buy groceries, my mother did not get the money or the grocries. when i tried to report the incident to catholic charities they will not return your calls and just were silent. Please beware bringing these caretakers to care of your elder citizens. what a shame stealing from sick and helpless senior citizens.

Depending on what township you live in Waukegan/north chicago. Closer to north chicago they have the babtist church on MLK that does dinners.
In Lake County you would need to contact Family First Center in Waukegan.
