This is ONLY for tandem trailers. This is NOT a rest area. There are NO restrooms or porta potties. This is a busy tractor trailer compound that is heavily patrolled by New York State troopers. Sloatsburg rest area is a 1/4 mile north. Also a very busy and crowded rest area.

A great spot to stop if you want to let your dog run a bit. Stay to the side and out of way of the trucks and out perfect place for a pet stop.

Sorry, but I don't know, I just picked up an oversize load there for the first time. The state does have a facility there, maybe try calling N.Y. State Department of Transportation.
