Don't go with Shasta. My project started in January of 2022 and is still waiting for concrete. So I understand the supply chain issues and shortage of concrete, but other pool companies completed three pools in my lane. All three started in February and March of 2022, but Shasta has been unable to make any progress in the last six months. No proper communication on the delays. They don't maintain order. I know people who signed with Shasta after me. Their project is ahead of my project. When I asked for reasoning, their response was it was out of luck. It looks like Shasta signed up too many pools, which they can not build in given timelines. So the first thing they do is dig the pool so the customer can not back out and get stuck with Shasta. Before COVID, I got positive feedback from their customers. Unfortunately, at the time of COVID, either they became greedy, or their management didn't manage risk appropriately. As a result, their customers are suffering.

We are excited that our Shasta pool is finally completed after a year and a half. I understand there were delays due to supply chain issues but the estimated time to completion was completely off. We also felt that the time between initial dig to concrete pour there was very little communication. In the end we were very happy with the quality of the final product.
