I found Dr. Jean during a Google search after I discovered one of my implants had ruptured late on a Friday night. It was a VERY scary and tense time. My implant was 21 years old, and my previous surgeon had long retired. I called the number expecting to leave a message for the office and intended to follow up on Monday morning. Imagine my surprise when Dr. Jean personally answered the phone at 9:00 at night! Who has ever experienced that personal element from a physician?! He alleviated my fears about what had happened and assured me he would have his staff call on Monday morning to set up a consultation. Sure enough, Kristen called me at 8:15am on Monday, as promised. She could not have been more compassionate and professional. She spoke from personal experience, discussed every detail about scheduling surgery, and gave me a price quote all within 20 minutes. I KNEW I had landed in the right place. I had a consult within two days, and my surgery two weeks later, which went so smoothly it seemed like it didn't even happen. From start to finish, Dr. Jean and his staff answered every question, was instantly responsive, attentive to my emotional needs, and exemplified the skill I needed to look my best. I cannot recommend Main Line Plastic Surgery enough, and am so grateful I found them.

Dr. Jean was very professional and did a good job on my chin implant. He put the implant in from inside the mouth below my lip leaving no visible scar. It was an improvement in appearance and everything went smoothly. The procedure was reasonable and there were no hidden costs. The doctor was also very much up-front with a description of what to expect. I feel that Dr. Jean is an honest and talented doctor who cares about his patients. After a year has passed I would like to add comments. Firstly, I knew about some numbness but was not aware that I would lose some muscle function in my mouth. If I take a large mouthful of something I have to chew carefully and lean my head back a little so nothing falls out. Secondly, if I have to spit something out it often ends up on my chin and thirdly, I have some minor problems pronouncing words at times. My final comment is that I would have liked a larger chin in the downward direction but it ended up only being in the forward direction resulting in little change from the frontal view. I don't believe that any other plastic surgeon would have done things any differently however and I think they would have charged more. I feel the procedure was a wash of benefit vs cost for me, but it may be worth thinking twice about having this procedure done. If you do decide however to have the procedure, I feel Dr. Jean is the one to have do the surgery.
