I wish I didn’t just leave my friend here with these rude, unprofessional, apathetic people. It’s almost as if they aren’t aware that they work at a crisis center. Cold, unprofessional, rude, aggressive - literally everything you don’t need at the worst time in your life. I calmly asked them to speak more kindly to us and they flew off the handle and threatened me! I just pray he’s ok with them and that the nurse who came out to speak with us is not indicative of the rest of their staff.

My 16-year-old daughter was referred to the adolescent therapist through CHOP PRIMARY. My daughter had four sessions with this woman after the fourth session we’ve heard nothing from her. I have called the therapist and left messages numerous times with no response. Finally, after weeks of trying to figure out what’s going on through the text messages to the therapist as well as phone calls and messages; and calling the main hospital…I am now told my daughter is no longer under therapy with them. Not to mention my daughter has a psychiatric appointment for the first time coming up and they just left my daughter in the wind. All I heard from this woman therapist is that someone should have called me by now. The therapist herself should have let me know that my child was no longer under therapy and why. There should be no reason for this unprofessionalism. I regret ever signing my child up with Hall Mercer Considering that this is how they treat Adolescence, I can imagine how they will treat adults especially medicated adults who may not know your surroundings very well in life every day situation. Please do not send your children to Hall Mercer! When I called to report the woman… I was given the run around. Legally we are allowed to file a grievance. I would not want her to be anyone else’s therapist until she’s educated more in Behavioral Health and reprimanded!!!!!!!

Crisis call center operator “lex” should receive better training in customer service. These are patients that need assistance for their mental health and she proved to be nothing but helpful. Lives are at stake.
