This Owner Matt is a progressional in his craft. We have a real active Corgi. Not a bird dog per say. The owner has done a great job training her and we will continue to use him through the training phases. Our dog has improved her behaviors and listening. This is an on going process and on our shoulders to reinforce the simple commands. I’m very pleased with Matt and his honesty of the entire process. There is continued work to do with our dog and we will be reaching back out to Matt for further training for our Corgi.

We sent both of our German Shorthaired Pointers to Matt this summer for bird dog training. He took great care of our dogs and we continue to trust him with our dogs for training time to time. Our male didn't really take to bird hunting, but Matt made sure to give him the opportunity to learn and was honest about Remy's ability. Our female on the other hand has done amazing and picked up on it right away. She is crazy about birds and is a great hunter. We wish we got more updates and pictures during their training, but still can't thank Matt enough for all the work he put into both of our dogs. It was 100% worth the investment.

Matt is a great guy and an outstanding trainer. He did amazing work with my dog, I couldn't be happier. I felt very comfortable leaving my dog in his hands. He will answer any questions you have and is very easy to talk too. If you want your dog too be a great bird dog this is the place to go.

We purchased a puppy from Copperwood Kennels and had a great experience. Matt was easy to communicate with, flexible with the timeframe, and very prompt with answering all our questions. Our puppy Titan is a machine on the water, yet has the ability to flip a switch and be perfect with our 6-year-old and 4-year-old sons. He is the perfect mix of a driven water dog and a family companion. We will be purchasing again from this outfit.
