The room had a weird wet smell everytime we entered and we stayed for a whole week. The bathroom did not have proper ventilation so everytime you take a shower, there is condensation everywhere. The AC didn't work that well so these things combined made musty smelly room. The kitchenette was adequate. The breakfast was decent and the staff was very nice.

We stayed in the queen studio suite and it was a very comfortable room to stay in! Our towels were so plush and fresh. We thought the ability to swivel the TV was a nice touch to the room layout! The full sized fridge and well stocked kitchen supplies were also very helpful. Check in was easy and quick! Our room was right next to the stairs and it was loud at times, it sounded like guests were running and dragging items through the stairwell. At one point in the late evening it sounded like guests were having an argument and shouting at each other in the room above - better soundproofing or a reminder to guests to not disturb their neighbors could have been nice.

We stayed in room 314 the past weekend. I highly appreciate having a pack and play (that we requested) before we got in. But, I was highly disappointed when I pulled out the sofa bed at night. The sheets were not changed from the previous guest and was filthy. I couldn’t even open fully and closed it immediately. I had a guest sleep on the floor for the night. I travel often for living, while traveling with family, this is completely unacceptable. I expected higher standards from Marriot especially during COVID

We stayed 3 nights, traveling for the Tulip Festival in Holland. I am a Titanium Elite level in the Marriott Bonvoy program having stayed over 100 nights a year with Marriott. I mention this as this hotel is the worst experience we have ever had with Marriott. We stay at all levels of hotels as we spend little time in them when we are traveling to explore. We got word our room was ready around 4 PM on Friday, we arrived around 8 PM, to find out that they had given us a room on the top floor, just about as far from the elevator as possible. Not convenient at all. We asked for a better location, but none were available. When we opened the door we were hit with a wave of bad odors, perhaps the previous occupant had cooked curry, but not sure it smelled stale and we could not air it out. We left the windows open as much as they would open, about 2" for the entire 3 days, and ran the AC trying to mitigate it. It got a little better on day 3 as we saw a maid with a bottle of Febreeze which we sprayed on the carpet, furniture, curtains, basically everything. When we returned that night it was better but still smelled. The 1st night I could hardly sleep, laying there at 3AM amazed at how bad it smelled. I mentioned all of this to the night clerk the first night and she said she would make it right, but never took any action, apparently told no one, and did nothing. I mentioned all of this again the last morning (Monday) and was told they had no idea about any of it. Still, no action was taken. Breakfast the last day was more or less non-existent, no coffee, a couple of sad-looking breakfast sandwiches that we tried but tossed in the trash, no meats which were present other days, etc etc, Basically it looked like a swarm of locusts had come through and cleaned it out. It was only 8AM. After this, I complained in more detail to advise I would be writing some reviews to let other know they should avoid this place, and was finally told they would tell the manager. The Monday morning clerk did not seem to even understand me when I mentioned Bonvoy Titanium Elite and 100 nights a year and this being the worst of all of them. Her response was something about they don't even charge $100 a night, however checking now it shows almost $400 a night, due to the Tulip Fest I am sure, normal rates seem to be around $109. She also mentioned they get no support from Marriott. Overall even for a lower level hotel, this is very poor customer service and reflects poorly on Marriott Bonvoy. We would recommend you find another place to stay, you will thank us if you do.
