Recently, our daughter and son-in-law celebrated their wedding at the Swanendele Inn. I am very grateful to the hosts, Gerald and Victoria for their gracious hospitality and for sharing this beautiful place, to Miguel for the delicious meals and to Jen for her sweet details and being available to help us. Our stay was like a sweet dream. Swanendele is a beautiful addition to the shores of St. Mary's County. We are fortunate to have this venue.

I have never seen such an unprofessional, selfish and arrogant innkeeper. They give you empty promises to make you waste your time and energy. And if you want to communicate with them, you won’t get an answer. They change their mind all the time and never admit what they said before. If you want a stressful weekend there, then book the hotel. Their terrible service will just ruin your beautiful mood of enjoying the scenery.

We stayed at the in last weekend and it was outstanding. Everyone there was friendly and the service could not have been better. Our room was gorgeous, as was the entire inn. Breakfast was simply wonderful. The inn is located in a pretty remote area which is peaceful and quiet. We enjoyed being away from the traffic and pace where we live (near Annapolis) for a brief time. We enjoyed meeting Gerry, Victoria, Miguel and Jennifer. They could not have been more welcoming and hospitable. The stories that Gerry told us about his travels around the world and about how the inn came into existence were fascinating. Our stay there was perfect and we look forward to returning. We have already begun recommending the Swanendele Inn to friends without hesitation.
