My friends and I usually go up to Gamepod in Antioch, but we wanted to try an outdoor field this time. We came to play airsoft and had a blast, the staff are the kindest folks I’ve ever met at an airsoft park. Very welcoming to first time visitors to their field. They provide a family friendly venue, the occasional swap meet, and many different themed maps on the field to play on, we only got to play on two of the maps (trenches and the shipping containers) before we decided to go back home for the day around noon. We arrived around 9am on a Saturday. There were maybe 18 airsoft players there, already checked in ready to go. More trickled in over the course of the day. The check in process was quick and easy for me because I had cash and exact change ($50 Each to play airsoft all day) they gave us our wristbands, and 4 TAG cards each — basically a credit card that can be exchanged as currency for snacks and refreshments, and can be revoked by referees if you get caught breaking any rules . My group and I claimed a table, and got all our equipment ready for the game. The ref came over, said we were starting, and took a vote on which field to play first; Trenches — this map was cool, it was perfect for a 9v9 game, plenty of natural and man-made obstacles that can be used as cover, it’s challenging just running through the trenches with your equipment and eye protection on while dodging between cover to avoid/out-maneuver the enemies shooting at you. We played 2 rounds in about 45 minutes and then took a short 15 minute break, then came back to play another map, I don’t remember the name, but it’s a flat gravel floor with a bunch of shipping containers. This one was very intimate, while you could run around outside in the sun, there’s lots of containers to hide in, with lots of holes to shoot out of, causing much agony to the unsuspecting enemy (myself included), But totally fun nonetheless. We played about 45 minutes again (which was plenty for my friends), and then the ref let us know that it was lunchtime 12pm. At that point my friends and I were pretty wiped out and had decided it was time to go home The players I met were regulars and they were really there to play, make some friends and have fun. I liked that the refs AND regulars really do enforce the rules like MINIMUM ENGAGEMENT DISTANCE (10ft) and NO FULL AUTO. Which is a good thing because it keeps the gameplay clean and avoids player conflicts. Some things to note for folks who’ve never been here before: -there is an outdoor shooting range, which I rarely see at airsoft fields. It’s important to be able to check and adjust your airsoft gun at a safe place before going onto the field. -I’m not certain, but some of the players told me that there’s no charging station, it’s a HUGE outdoor field divided into a dozen or so themed maps, so there’s no public buildings or electrical outlets. So bring multiple charged batteries. -they have Port-o-potty’s, and a hand washing station, and you can tell that they’re sanitized often. So keep them clean please, Maybe bring soap or hand sanitizer, though because I didn’t see any and had to go to my car for some. -The lobby/waiting/staging area is a very large shaded zone with picnic tables so you can set up your gear and do any last minute adjustments, or just have a snack. -The store sells a basic supply of paintball, airsoft, and Gellyball ammo and some accessories. But anything you will need to play; water, snacks, ammo, batteries, gas, goggles, etc. Plan on having it beforehand. Overall, 5 well deserved stars for one of the best fields in the Bay Area! Hope to play here again soon!

Marking one star for the crazy price of $50 even with your own gear but overall waaaaay better than AEX I. Terms of the field and the staff I feel a lot more welcome and can’t wait for the next operation

Not really worth the money. The game are two spaced and quick. It seems rather disorganized. All fifty bucks gets you is admission and four tag cards. Allot of debris on the field and even a wasp nest.

Questions & Answers

Are we allowed to bring our own guns to the field, does that mean we use our own bb’s? Are you allowed to bring an airsoft shield to the field?

Not too many fields have you buy their bbs and usually as long as you bring your own and they are BIODEGRADABLE, you should be fine. If not, buy the fields own bbs when you get there. No harm done, bth. Bring an extra $20 just in case. Most fields are fine with shields, so I would just say bring it. Depending on the shield and what they have planned for the day, they might say yes or no and/or have some rules on how to use it.

What is the FPS limit and would a 305 FPS m4 work

400 FPS with .20g BBs. Your M4 should be fine to use at the field.
