The inn is beautiful with so much character! The amenities are great, especially for the price. Our room came with Nespresso pods (5 per day) and drinks stocked in the fridge. Everything was clean and the bed was comfortable. They have a lovely pool and fire pit (we didn't have time to use these but they looked great!). Common areas really fit the ambiance you'd expect from a New England inn built in the 1700s. The management was very helpful when I needed an early check-in! And importantly, the breakfast was AMAZING. I think it was the best french toast I have ever had, and all the other food was delicious. Highly recommend this inn.

We stayed at Sugar Hill Inn over Memorial Day Weekend while attending a wedding in the area. We generally prefer to choose privately owned Inn's when traveling. The charm of the Inn, built in the 1700's, is exactly what we expecting and hoping for. We received a thorough tour when checking in. We stayed in the Moses Aldrich room which was quite comfortable and had all amenities and was spotless. The bathroom was nicely updated. They serve a free breakfast which was a 5 star meal. The baked banana french toast and pepper bacon were outstanding. Coffee, fresh delicious fruit, juice and the best scones were a part of the meal. Highly recommend to anyone considering a stay in this beautiful part of NH.

Amazing! Came here with my wife for our second anniversary! Beautiful location, very nice Inn! The best part was the people (a rarity). Everyone from the inn owner all the way down the line were exceptional! Special kudos to their chef, Collin. I’m not sure where he gained his knowledge but his creations are nothing short of culinary wizardry. He patiently catered an entire meal for me as I’m currently experiencing a condition where the vast majority of foods taste like metal. Everything he made for me was incredible. Great staff! Highly recommend. We will certainly be back.

My husband gifted a quiet weekend stay at Sugar Hill Inn to me for Christmas. We stayed here over 11 years ago and had a great, relaxing time. What we remembered most were the exceptional dinners we had, which blew us away considering it is a quiet New England inn with historic charm. The chef/owner was very personable and made sure every guest was pleased and comfortable. Many years later, and under new ownership in the last couple months, Chris and Kiersten have not only kept the reputation alive but are expanding on it. My husband and I are still blown away by the food and service. The Sugar Hill Inn has everything you need to feel at home, plus the pampering you hope for. Book a massage. Relax in the whirlpool tub. Sit and chat with Chris at the bar. Hang out in the foyer on some comfy couches, a fireplace, and a good book - there’s many to choose from! Be willing to slow it down, meet some good people, taste delicious food, and the Inn will exceed all your expectations. We will be back (and sooner this time)!
