Went there during graduation last year, and honestly one of the best experiences I've had in the finger lakes area! The wines are brilliant, the views are gorgeous down in the outside seating, and the food is great. Will definitely come back again!

Ventosa was a great stop for me as an out of state visitor. The view is beyond gorgeous and the wine is great. We had lunch and did a tasting. My favorite wine was the Lemberger. It had a great full body with peppery finish which I love. Thomas also did a great job of guiding us through the tasting and explaining each wine to us. Would definitely recommend this stop for anyone!

Thomas was great. Very knowledgeable. Every wine I tried from the tasting was fantastic. Beautiful view of the lake. Ask to try the 2011 Merlot from the Library Wines selection. Just amazing!

HI Michelle, yes we are on weekends. During the week, we are doing tastings by reservation only. You can call us (315)719-0000 to make that reservation or we have a Ring doorbell where we are notified that you are there and we can come up from the office to help you in. Let me know if you have any other questions.
Yes, there is seating on our terrace for either cafe (11-4 Thur-Sun, until 5 Mon-Tues, & until 9 on Wednesdays) but seating inside is available until 5 everyday. We also have outdoor seating for dinner (5:30-9pm Thus-Sun). We just don't do wine tastings outside. These things are always changing with Covid, so I would suggest you give us a call before you come to make sure- I know it's probably confusing! Let me know if you have any other questions.

Dog are allowed outside on the terrace. There is a staircase that leads up to it on the south end of the building. They don't allow dogs on the inside because of the cafe.
No docks..up away from the lake. Gorgeous view, great wine & food. Worth driving to.
