This past weekend I made my third trip to the Finger Lakes area. On Sunday, my boyfriend and I visited a couple of different wineries and were not impressed by the hospitality/customer service of those establishments. We walked into Missick, expecting the same type of treatment and were pleasantly surprised to be greeted with the biggest smile by a staff member named Carol. Carol was not pushy nor did she seem interested in pushing us into tastings, etc. She listened to our preferences and made recommendations based on that. My boyfriend, who isn't even a wine drinker, ended up purchasing bottles of wine based on this experience. The wine was excellent, the views were beautiful, and the customer service was top notch. I can't say enough good things about our experience!!

The tasting was enjoyable. The space is nice and open. Ample parking available. The best part of the experience was our wine host/ presenter, Carol, who was lovely and made us feel right at home. The wines presented showcased a fair selection of wines of the region. I am new to white wine. Thus, I will simply say that I thought the wines in my flight were good but have room for improvement. Overall, a solid introduction to the region.
