I’ve had nothing but issues with my windows and sliding patio door since installation. My patio door handle/ lock was improperly installed and upon numerous attempts, Window World techs were unable to correct the issue. Not to mention the SLOPPY caulk smeared and dried up around my door and trim. The tech actually said, “Who cares, it’s just an old condo”. Just before Memorial Day weekend I had to contract a 3rd party to fix my lock so I could secure my unit before leaving town. Most recently, I just discovered my bedroom window does not latch or lock! My a/c stopped working so of course, I opened my windows. I live on the lower level and am scared to even go to sleep tonight. The window pane feels like it is going to fall out. There is a gap and the latch doesn’t align with the hooks that secure the lock. This is no surprise as just after install my windows were fogging up and freezing little ice cycles around the edges. Window World management told me this was “normal” and would subside. Not true. This company is incompetent and they do NOT care about us the consumer. Zero stars!

The sales person told me 12-16 weeks. We are at 19 weeks. I called for an update and the best they could do was tell my maybe 6 months….I wouldn’t recommend this place….My brother ordered window 4 weeks after me from a different company and they are already installed..

I was initially critical of this company, with delays, but since and after COVID I think every company has delays of some sort. Job is completed now and windows look great. Josh did a nice job with installation. I would recommend.

Since every window ordered is custom-built to fit your home and design choices, manufacturing times vary. Once delivered, the type of window being installed and the type being removed help determine the amount of time needed to complete the job. On average, each window takes about 30 minutes. Trim work and cleanup will require additional time to complete. An average job will take a single day.

Please take down curtains, blinds, or any other window treatments. Security sensors should also be removed and turned off by your security company. Please provide our installation expert with a clear path to the window(s) being replaced by moving anything that may be in the way. It is also advisable to remove all wall decorations from the walls close to the windows as they may fall during removal or installation.
