Great amenities, especially for families with kids! Nice sites (400's) that were close to everything and had trees and some shade. Our site even had open grassy area behind us for the kids to play (full of fireflies at night!).

Edit to respond to the owners: My group rented 2 park models. BOTH were dirty! I very highly doubt someone went into both of the park models and messed them up as much as they were. This would mean someone left a dirty towel, used both tables, couches, bathtubs, tables, refrigerators and bunks in BOTH rentals? Although this claim could be possible, since both units were unlocked when we arrived, I highly doubt that somebody snuck into both of them and messed the BOTH up them like this. Maybe have your units locked between guests if this is a valid claim? The reason I mention ADA In my review is because the lady at check-in literally use the term the ADA cabin. You might want to educate your employees on the proper terms to use. Regarding parking and your entire property and amenities; I might l suggest that you discuss some different things with your guest at check-in or provide them with a map, or any other basic paperwork regarding your campground and the rules and different things that are available, so your guests are aware. We were not provided any paperwork at check-in, other than the offer of a map for the Amish stores in the area. I understand guests could look on your website before they arrive to see what’s available where and view a map, however that was impossible to do during our stay since cell phone service was very spotty and your Wi-Fi only worked in select locations on the property. ————- Rented the new park model which was not cleaned before check-in. Found sand all over, a dirty couch, tables, counter, sink and fridge, as well as dirty towel in the bathroom. As well, the rental was advertised as ADA accessible , and it definitely is not. Good thing my family didn’t actually need an accessible unit. The ramp is way to steep for accessible access and the entire unit does not meet ADA requirements, including door width and bathroom set up (has tub and not walk-in shower) Swimming pond was great, except when someone pooped in it, which caused it to be closed for half the day. I understand this wasn’t managements fault, but was disappointing. Wish they would treat the pond with chemicals and follow normal pool regulations, which would have only required the water to be treated and closed for 30 minutes, not the rest of the day. Parking was also very tight on ALL sites (my family had 2 rentals and 3 camper sites) and had to get creative and park on the grass, right on top of the fire pits on 3 of the 5 sites. Good thing we had one site that had enough space to use the fire pit, or not sure where we would have parked and enjoyed our space.

Glacier Valley is one of the best private campgrounds I’ve been to. The staff and owners are very nice and accommodating. The grounds are clean and are meticulously cared for. (New gravel was on my site and others upon arrival on the Memorial Day weekend) looking forward to next year. Thank You

Hi. Yes, we have quite a few tent sites... but they are primitive (no water or electric). The original primitive sites (901-906) at the top of our hill go for $30 per night on in-season weekends. We also have some great tent sites in the 20 acres of fields and woods that we purchased to the west. Group sites (more than 5 people) are $10 per person per night.

The brand new ones we stayed in are most expensive there, it was 160$ or 180$? Very nice!

Are there any bars/ restaurants on the premises or nearby?

We have no bar or restaurant at Glacier Valley, but there are quite a few in the area, including in Cambria - The Dump (great burgers - don't be put off by the name!), which is seven miies, and several in Pardeeville, which is also seven miles. We love The Boathouse on Fox Lake, which is about 20 minutes. You may run into us there! We also have a store that sells pizzas you can cook there, and we are proud to sell Leroy Meats' frozen steaks, burgers, and more.

Are there camper restrictions?

Tom Lompa | Feb 13, 2020
Kelly Nowak | Feb 14, 2020

There are no camper restrictions. However every site is different so make sure when you reserve your sight, your camper can fit length and width for the site you want.
