I can't say it was the best. But it wasn't the worst. I do feel that staff in the office need a little more motivation. Some seem like they don't want to be there. They see people waiting and don't bother to say, "I will be with you in a moment." They also seem like they don't know what they are doing because they don't know how to answer simple questions. Maybe put visible that will let people know which way to the dog park, for example. The water in the pool was too cold, even on a hot day. Their firewood is very expensive. We forgot to bring ours. So we went around the area looking for better prices, which we did find. We did have an issue with a guy that was drunk and bothering us. But after a few times of asking him to leave us alone he left. We wanted to leave at that moment but it was really late at night. Other than that, my kids had fun.

If there was a “0 star option” I would have chosen it. Stayed there this past weekend and it was a horrible experience. Seasonal campers speeding around on golf carts blaring their music until 2 or 3 in the AM, the seasonal owners were extremely rude at the pools, waited 45 minutes for our food at the snack bar and to top it off they had nothing ready for us when we arrived. We booked a site near the main attractions at this campground and ended up by the main entrance in between seasonal sites. Last time we were at this campground was 5 years ago and it was the best around but we are extremely disappointed and will not be coming back.

We camped here for 21 years in a row but this year was our last. The cost for a site is now more than a nice motel room! If you don't have a permanent site you are treated as second class citizens. There are alternatives nearby, which we will start using.

Bottom line up front: If you are not a seasonal camper at this facility... STAY AWAY! If you enjoy the constant noise of all of the long-term residents mowing their lots, using power tools to build decks onto their campers, and listening to them riding around on their golf carts with loud music all hours of the night; then this is the place for you! I don't enjoy any of those things, and had I known the majority of this KOA was long term residents, you could not have paid me to stay here. I won't be returning to this facility, and in my opinion they should drop the KOA name and transition to a seasonal trailer park.

I've seen more than one on sites. Not sure if there's an additional fee. Check with management.
Yes they have year around sites price depends on the site. Some sites have sewer hook up they are more expensive. I think the sites are between 2800 and 3400 a year.
Pools close after labor day weekend. Campground closed for the season oct 15th. After that you can visit your camper once a month until April 15th. When it opens ahain
