Wonderful downtown setting, restaurants & shopping within walking distance. All of the employees we spoke with were very friendly and helpful. The restaurant on site, Wellington's, has superb food. Room service was available until 9pm. We had 2 dinners, 2 appetitizers, and a bottle of wine and it was brought to the room in 30 minutes. You will pay extra for parking, but it's worth it. The garage is well lit and connects directly to the hotel. We will absolutely be staying here on our next trip to Albany.

Spent last night here. Hotel is beautiful, staff are very friendly, beds are very comfortable. Giving it a 3 because when I checked in they gave me a room with a view of a brick wall and am air conditioner, asked to be moved and they readily had other rooms available. The rooms also could use a deep clean. Not sure if they just don't give their staff enough time to clean, but the bed frames need a vacuum and there's lots of dust and grime in the less seen areas (bed frames, ledges of the sill on the sliding bathroom door, edges of desk and bathroom counters, etc).

This is a great hotel. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. However, on our second day the cleaning staff did not clean our room, so we had to ask for clean towels and more toilet paper, which was kind of a let down for a hotel with such a reputation. Moreover, one towel which was provided to us (although clean) was torn. Not a huge deal but for $630 for two nights you would expect better.

First, the positives: hotel is beautiful, with elegant wood paneling, and detailed murals decorating the ceiling and upper walls of the lobby. The large room with two queen beds we stayed in was spacious, modern, and clean. The onsite Wellingtons restaurant was the highlight of the hotel for us, serving up deliciously prepared dinner entrees. Shout out to our dinner waiter, Brett, who went out of his way to provide outstanding service. Breakfast was a little more disappointing. Normally, it turns out, in-dining breakfast isn't even offered at the restaurant. Only room service breakfast is available. We happened to be staying during a few days the hotel was fully booked with law students taking their bar exam next door at the Albany Capital Center. So, buffet breakfast was offered. But, coffee was not particularly good, and pancakes we had were extremely dry. They tacked on an 18% mandatory service charge without even giving notice about it for ordering extra items not available at the buffet. Hostesses were chatty and not particularly polite, and we were seated multiple times without even so much as being given place settings. The aspect the hotel fell short on, in my opinion, was the hospitality element. In the hospitality business, especially at premium room prices, you expect the staff to be forthcoming, helpful, and hospitable. Instead, we were presented with a barrage of excuses as to why the hotel wasn't functioning as normally expected. We exited our rooms at 9:30am, taking down our "do not disturb" signs, and saw cleaning staff on the floor. But, for some reason, our room wasn't cleaned upon return. The excuse from the front desk? Unexpectedly short-staffed, due to the influx of law students at the hotel. This wasn't told to us upon checking in. Another disappointing aspect of our stay was how the cleaning staff let the hall vacuums rip prior to 9:30am, in front of rooms like ours where we had requested a late check out the night before for a little more rest, and our "do not disturb" sign was still up. This happened multiple mornings in a row, actually. When confronting the manager regarding this issue, he was rather complacent and essentially shrugged his shoulders, not even offering so much as an apology. So, overall this hotel did have a lot of excellent potential. But, unfortunately, due to improper planning/arrangements to have adequate staff on duty, and what appeared to be somewhat dysfunctional management, in addition to a surprising lack of accountability for the shortcomings of our stay, we most likely will not be considering this hotel again in the near future for our visits to Albany.

Im not sure. Try Lowe's or Home Depot
Call the front desk ask for the email information; general manager or dining manager. I believe their website has a link for communication. Both however will use your email address. Just make sure whatever email address you use is not in the Marriott system or use a close friends account. You will need specific information if they can't contact you.
Yes it is in walking distance from the Times Union center about 2 blocks down the hill. There is a $22 a day parking fee for parking in the garage.
