Very sweet ladies and some of the most skilled Phlebotomists I've ever dealt with. Quick, helpful, and very knowledgeable. Great place to donate!

I went multiple times and was becoming somewhat of a regular, but then was deceitfully lied to by an appointment representative and I’ve made a vow never to return. …

You don't get paid to donate blood at Houchin. You can try to donate plasma at one of the Grifols Biomat facilities, they pay you.
Depends on what's in your system, honestly. You do the same question sheet every time, so every time you go is roughly the same. 10 min for the questions, maybe 10-20? min for the draw if you're well hydrated, and 15 min for the rest period. I'm being a bit generous with the times, btw. 25-45 min is what I prepare for.
Hello best to call and speak with a screener. 323-4222, best of luck!
No, besides the stuff you get afterwards which is like coupons and a decent snack selection. Donating is for the good of the community.
No but it helps them schedule donors and you can do the quick check on your phone ahead of time. I had time to go yesterday at 10. Called at 9:10 and they scheduled me at 10. No problem
https://www.aboquickpass.com/welcome?cust=HCBB There is a direct link for the quick pass if you go to the Houchin website and scroll all the way to the bottom under the donors section at the bottom of the page it says donor questionnaire.
Yes, you can donate if you are from out of the area.
No, but there is a plasma center that gives you money for your time. They have technical word for it.
You're supposed to wait to donate until you've been symptom free for three days.
Yes. They have to be CA certified. You can call to get more information.
