I am a day into working with Tully Rincky & Paul more specifically and I already feel serious weight/stress and concerns fall off my body with great confidence in what’s to come.

Please save your money and do not hire this firm. If you are a father seeking any type of custody change just scroll down to the next one. I was transferred to 3 different lawyers. My initial retainer was blown through with ZERO invoices. They wanted 6k to do something they guaranteed would cost less that 2.5k. I ended up having to seek other counsel. I spent $3,500 of my hard earned money so they could take me further from the goal. I wish I listened to these reviews. No one at this firm cared at all about my case. It was almost comical at one point. These people are the reason lawyers get a bad name.

I had an awful experience with Tully Rinckey. Very poor, inept representation-save your money! Sadly, you should record all your calls with them & minimze calls all together. An agency maximizing their profit while providing mediocre legal services at best! You don't always get what you pay for...

This law firm and the lawyers are awful, they suffer from ego, and they will try to talk you to death in order to rack up billable hours for more money. Steer clear of the "Merit Assessment" for EEO cases, and 'always' pay by credit card so you can dispute payments against the business, if you unfortunately need to. They are deliberately deceptive prompting themselves as an aggressive "veteran business". In actuality, they are lazy, will want you to do their work that you already paid for, disorganized, and they operate with indifference with the individuals they work for/with. Horrible, horrible, distasteful, and gross.

As a general matter, in NY a landlord may keep a security deposit when a tenant leaves to cover damage to the apartment such as pet stains, burns or holes in the carpet, broken doors or appliances as a result of the tenant’s fault or negligence, and unapproved paint on the walls. The landlord may not charge for damage resulting from normal wear and tear. If the apartment needed cleaning and painting when it was rented and the current tenant did not do any damage and the rent was fully paid upon leaving, then the landlord should return the current tenant’s security deposit. If a written inspection report was prepared when the tenant moved in that will form the basis for any claimed damage beyond normal wear and tear. Note that the landlord must provide an itemized list of any repairs which are claimed as the reason for not returning the full security deposit. * Not intended as legal advice.
I used Tully-Rinckey for a divorce, they were great.
