Has cool ducks and geese of many kinds with some fish and turtles at times!! Good park for many events-- which brings about a lot of trash so it would be much better looking park if so many people didn't leave their trash behind

What a great park! Has 2 playgrounds. One is a wooden one that's almost completely shaded. Its got such a wonderful design and so many benches for parents to sit in every area of the playground. Had toddler side too. My 5 yr old grandson and I played hide & seek it was perfect for that! We walked over to the colorful other playground that's the plastic and it had fun things too. There were many picnic areas with bbqs including areas to reserve for larger parties. Bathrooms weren't terrible not great. We fed the hundreds of ducks by the huge pond. It was a great day.

Kids like to play on the playground very large field for soccer Frisbee football any of the above and they love to feed the ducks and the geese

Fun equipment for the kids to play on in two separate areas. Ducks and geese EVERYWHERE. A lake in the middle. A dude walking around yelling at the bird to make them fly away. Talked to a nice couple with a baby. Crazy dude yelling at birds. All in all, it was a pleasant time.

Yes but on a leash as a safety concern to the kids that play and also the ducks and geese.
You must notify to City office located on 153 S Broadway St. Turlock CA, and get the permission from Park & recreation department. This park safe & big enough for the parties.
Now that u know where that geese is I think u should take it to animal hospital , cuz if u call animal control they will come pick it up and take care of it by killing it.
If you like outdoor venues, lots of shade, might be hot in summer. lots of ducks and geese.
There is no place to fish in this town.
No. There is no fishing at the large pond. There are fish, geese, mudhens & ducks that you can feed. They will come right up to you. The fish & waterfowl like bread, cereal, grains, lettuce, worms, crickets....
Yes
No. And honestly I wouldn't go near those fish if I were you.
Remember when Donnelly park was 1st being built. My brother put the fountains in
Yes, it is overrun with koi fish that people have dumped. It actually disturbing to see, as they literally are packed so densely, that they are unable to move. They have killed catfish the city stocked by starving them to death and now they themselves are starving but they can live for a longtime with dying of starvation. You cannot legally fish, even with a license. It is a shame you cant as it would be nice to be able to do something to deal with the outragious mishav that is occurring. I wish that answer wasnt so long and terrible, just hoping someone from the parks deparment in turlock reads this and maybe something is done. It is a lovely park this time of you and in spring if you don't mind geese
Yes you can save a spot but once someone stole the table. So its best if you have somebody volunteer to show up early. Pinata should be ok, we clean area after party
No, they only charge to reserve a table or tables. At one time there were only some tables that were reservable; now all tables are reservable.
Yes you can. You can also use the grills available at most tables. Since 2018 all tables are reservable. If you have a spot you really want for your event reserve it for best peace of mind. If someody is there you can kick them off.
