Very nice area. A short walk brings you to a small swimming hole with a nice waterfall. $2.00 to park which was very reasonable.

We rent a Pavillion here every year at least once. Beautiful hike up the trail to the waterfall. Short enough for adults and little kids. Can't beat the admission price.

Yes there is a playground.
Office hours differ from park hours. Office is open Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri until noon and Wed 3-6 if memory serves.
If the trail was open you could swim at the top
Yes, swimming is allowed. There are ledges that are good for jumping from. I would check to make sure the water is deep enough. Last time I was up there they filled it in to make it a lot more shallow. By the waterfall is were I'm referring.
