We drove 2.5 hours for fall foliage express in 09/24/22. It isn’t worth the drive or price. May be it might worth a little more later in the year. The train ride was completely silent without much to see outside. It was not 90 minutes as advertised. You go up to a certain point and come back from that point rather than completing a full circle.

I didn't see any notice either way, and no one on our trip had pets. Best to call them directly, they were very helpful for our questions.
Reading their promo, snacks and board games are welcomed- reading about the the 'table' car.
Depends on where you get on and what trip you are taking. Check there website for times and trips.
There are several types of excursions between Honesdale to Lacawaxen, Pa. The pumpkin run goes to White Mills. The foliage run on Fridays goes to Lacawaxen. The weekend ones dont go quite as far but still hit all the highlights. One year they had a dinner and theater run from Honesdale to Hawley and back. Check the website for listings and availability.
Yes, there was one inside the older model Pennsylvania coach we rode in.
There is a parking lot by the Chamber of Commerce building where you board the train.
