Reserved a king size bed, when checking in the lady at the desk said none our left so will give queen size bed. I ask what’s the point of a reservation. After 15 minutes she called someone else and ask what to do. She spoke with I assume the manager and gave the Okay to put in a king size room. She said they overbooked and that was already taken just not checked in yet. I said I have the same reservation and here now. So finally got the king size bed as my reservation was for. But bedsides that’s the room we’re super clean and comfortable.

Booked a non smoking room. When checking in was told all they had was smoking rooms. Was then told there was nothing that could be done and we could cancel our reservation (but it would cost $163). Not really sure what’s going on but management needs to work on their reservations and make sure they don’t over book. Thank goodness the room didn’t smell like a 10 day old ash tray when we got in there.

Positive: It's centrally located in Evansville. Easy to get anywhere else pretty quickly. Nice showers!! Super friendly staff!! Negative: Toilet paper could have been better. Such a nice hotel and casino, you would think they can afford the good stuff.

We came for a mini girls trip for my birthday. We had a wonderful time! Top notch restaurants are only open Thursday- Sunday, but The Tap House food is great too. Pepsi products only are served. People were amazing, room was great and comped, and we left winners!! Definitely plan to come back!!

I have had good days and bad days. Check the stats on the machine, you can see when was the last time it payed out big. Helps a little.
Yes they should make another place for non smokers
Well I don't drink, but I thought the same thing about the ventilation in the building, it's horrible. Also, the elevators aren't heated and in sub zero temps it feels like your riding in a deep freezer.
Credit or debit card only & must be 21 or older

Casinos are currently exempt from the Statewide smoke-free air laws... Also exempt are bars, private clubs, fraternal and Veterans organizations and retail tobacco shops.
Everytime I do at the casino and entertainment is great.....you cant go to a casino and expect to win everytime ......just have to have fun and play responsibly.....other than that rooms are clean and casino is new.....you should go it's a good time
Yea you can park in the back.theres several semi trucks parked back there
Bad luck but yeah, lower the price of drinks!
Maybe a holiday or there is something big in town like the final four
I'm pretty sure you can , but I would call first or check there website
Yes they do if your staying at the hotel, I didn't see any for the casino
Try contacting the casino host.
Yes
Si! Nose and mouth covered door to door.
I would think that you will need register for new accounts. It's been a long time since it was Aztar!
What's a pass?
If you visit during the week, you just ask for an upgrade, they will try to accommodate you. On the weekends, you must be a high roller or a long time club member earning points.
You must be a club member, but yes, they give free things for birthdays for registered members.
24hrs on weekends
421 Riverside Dr. Just down from the river front. Also just across from the entrance of the old casino entrance.
Poker is not available until further notice.

Not sure, I would call the casino to make sure.
Don't think they cash payroll checks
Yes I have. It's alot smaller but it seems you can win alittle easier. And some machines have big payouts
It's real easy.....I think it's a run 5 dollars thru a machine and it's a point ....trop advantage is a real good program....plus Evansville casino ......really gives good deals like rooms free and Bogo offers once you gamble for the first time for a return trip...plus entertainment is good
Yes they do have valet parking but I don't know how much it cost
Yes it's a big exciting building unless you lose then it's a little bit depressing and it's a good place to go
I'll send it tomorrow
Must be 21 to enter a casino in Indiana.
No, state regulations do not allow for this in Indiana
Just depends and whenever thwy empty the machines amd reset them
Just the person paying.
Depends upon machine. Alot only show what max bet pays. Go to menu and it should show you, if you're on a touch screen, otherwise look overhead, do the math. Shrug. I only had about 6 hits in 400.00 so not really sure about how loose they are. But it was midweek early in evening too.
You will love the games sense it is your first time I recommend that you take $20 to start for the slot machines .
Get a Tropicana casino website.
Of course it matters. The only People questioning the usefulness of unions have not been a union Member. But IN being a right-to-work state, it waters down their effectiveness.
There is a parking lot at the le merigot hotel that is normally pretty empty so there should be ample parking for a rv twords the back of the parking lot i know they've had tractor and trailers park there before
they have slot tournaments every Monday, but it is only for club 55 you have to be 55 years old
Sorry, I'm not sure about that
4 hours. 266 miles.
I saw a bus pull thru the valet entrance, so they must park somewhere close
Tropicana hotel is pet friendly. LeMerigot hotel is not. 150 hold on a credit\debit card
No
No but some drivers do park at diamond ave and st joe and uber there for small fee
Everyone is wrong! They are definitely pet friendly at the Tropicana hotel. There is a pet deposit but it is refunded after they check room and there are no problems.
I never win there
I don't think so, they have a gym with 1-treadmill and 1- bike.
Make sure you put your card in the machine and the more you play the more points you will get on your card
Not really sure why they took them out. New games keeps things fresh. I went for the entertainment not really to play.
We’re going to try it but with smoking issues won’t go there !Being a new casino they should have good be ventilation and a decent size none smoking! Real disappointed from the reviews!
I do not know that game, lots to pick from so it could be their and we ran out of $ to play with before seeing that one, lol
If your level of play is high enough. You can always call and speak with a casino host.
If you want a Trop Card, all you have to do is show your DL.number/ ID to the desk clerk and they will make you one. But you don't need one to play the slots, it just gets you comp benefits
Not at this time .
In 1993 Vanderburgh County residents passed a referendum allowing riverboat gambling, and construction on the boat. The site where Tropicana and its coinciding district sit currently was once empty. Two years later, in 1995, Aztar Corp. docked the first gaming riverboat in Indiana and opened the casino to the public. In 1996, the Casino Aztar Pavilion and Casino Aztar Hotel opened to the public. Casino Aztar Hotel, now known as Tropicana Hotel, features 243 guest rooms, 11 suites, a 1,660 vehicle-parking garage, meeting, conference and banquet facilities, and a fitness room. The casino took a break from the ongoing improvements until 2005, when construction on The District, the area of nightlife surrounding the casino, began. Along with this construction came Ri Ra Irish Pub, Jillian’s Billiards Club, the Le Merigot Hotel, and Blush Ultralounge. Over the years, new restaurants have been introduced. In 2012, a pedestrian bridge was built to connect The District to the casino.
But casino aztar still owns all of the property that Tropicana sits on correct and will not change.
No ma'am. The hotel is connected to the casino via a skywalk.
A short inside walk from the hotel
