Nice lake, the perimeter of the lake is a bit disgusting in some areas.

This hand-launch ramp allows the easy entry with a canoe or kayak into Silver Lake in Woodridge, NY (not the Silver Lake State Park further upstate). The ramp is small and little improved, so is not suitable for larger trailered boats. There is also a small park here, but the adjacent dam is off limits. There is parking here for 6-8 cars right on Silver Lake Road.

Fishing is allowed, there is no charge.
There are a couple parking spots about a 20 foot walk from the water.
