Interesting piece of history. Does have a single portable toilet(which relies on donations for cleaning).

Nice drive. Nice views all around. The camp itself is very story like. Items from the mid 1900's .. 40's and above. The site seems to still be active as there was people there excavating on the top of the camp, and signs asking people to not go into certain areas where the site manager stays at. Overall. Worth the stop. Go in an explore. The gate is meant to stop cars and other bigger items from getting in. It is open to walking visitors.

Yes you can camp around there, its all dry camping. We normally camp in Jawbone Canyon, not to far away. Red Rocks is also in that area. Not BLM that I know of
