Recently paid over 60 dollars for 3 N-95s that we’re desperately needed for elderly family members. Come to find out that other local business are selling at a much more fair & reasonable prices . New Hartford wicker mill is selling them at a much more fair price . This is how business should be run during such a pandemic

Went to them to buy masks for my employees, my drivers who are our the facing this dangerous virus everyday. as my business is essential to the community I take every precaution for the safety of my drivers and for the safety of the public. So being said I went to health and home for some masks. I was told they were N95 and that they were reusable as well. For $20 a piece. I spare no expense when it comes to safety but when I saw the masks I was concerned. So I called health and home care. The woman I spoke with said that they were fine that the masks were reusable. So I called Kimberly Clarke and they told me that the masks were not reusable that in fact they were disposable. They could not give me a unit price but said that they came in boxes of 55. They gave me the name of a few distributors closest to me and I called and spoke to a sales rep who informed me that yes indeed they are not reusable but disposable and that a box that has 55 of these masks would cost me around $60. 55 disposable masks for $60. When I told the people at the store about this the woman who claimed she was the manager said that that is not how we get them shipped in. An obvious lie. The fact is that these people are price gouging and I have the receipts to prove it. How nice of them to take advantage of a pandemic that is killing people. All for a few extra $$$$.
