Go anywhere else for an inspection but here, and for anything else. This place is filthy, tries to scam people (especially ones they know that aren’t educated about cars) out of money of things that aren’t necessary on. And, treats their customers even more terrible when they chose to have a second opinion. Then when same vehicle is brought to a more reputable place for a second opinion, gets told what was claimed deemed necessary by pepboys isn’t needed in order to pass inspection and what makes it even more startling is nothing is wrong with those parts they claimed needed to be changed or worked on. pep boys are Bunch of crooks, you can still do fair& honest business while making money for your business but that isn’t in their personal business ethics despite what they claim. Don’t believe the 5,4 or even 3 star reviews because it’s probably somebody who works for the company or an older review. BEWARE

I got pulled over today for a tail light and blinker out on my way to New Hartford. The state trooper told me to get it fixed. I dropped my dog off at the groomers and went to Pep Boys. The gentleman in the service department took my car right in, replaced the one bulb that was out and told me I was all set! He did not charge me a dime for fixing it. I am GREATLY APPRECIATIVE to him for making a bad day a little better!!!!
