I've lived here now through two snow storms and I am amazed at how quickly our complex roads and walkways are cleared! They have even cleared the area outside my door. In addition, maintenance calls are responded to in a very quick turnaround time. The crew is always professional and thorough. If you're considering a move I would definitely recommend The Sovereign!

The cost of living here is significantly inflated. The apartments are very outdated, tile countertops in the kitchens, laminate in the baths, cabinets are super old and stained. The office staff is the worst but the maintenance is pretty responsive. However, it is very inconvenient to constantly call maintenance for issues because the apartments are getting so run down. My apartment specifically has significant insulation issues, it is freezing all the time because of the poor insulation in the winter and our heating unit is failing. I would not recommend living here. in the Overland Park area there are so many newer luxury apartments for this price and as soon as my lease is up I’ll be moving elsewhere. Living here has really been an inconvenience and a hassle.

Worst management I’ve ever had to deal with at an apartment complex. Their mindset is never on how to make your time there better but how to squeeze more and more money out of you. These people are sharks. 1/5 popcorn bags, would not recommend.

October 11 we had an issue with squirrels in our rafters. Management called a company to solve the problem as soon as we reported it. A trap was used to catch the squirrels. Sadly another resident saw the trap, complained to management, forcing them to seal the opening before all the squirrels were caught. This resident apparently posted blatantly false comments on several apartment sites claiming harm to dogs, kids and other absolute lies. This complex treats their residents like they should with respect and concern. This is a great place to live in. Too many people stick their nose in where it doesn’t belong.

Our furnished homes include all utilities such as cable, internet, electric, water, sewer, gas, city trash fees, pest control fees, valet trash, all furniture items (bedding, towels, pots and pans, etc) and washer dryer. Our onsite maintenance team handle maintenance request in the order they are recieved. Any maintenance emergencies such as (leaks, fire,or flood) are handled right away or within a 24 hour window. We also have an emergency maintenance line that will allow you to contact maintenance right away for emergencies. You will simply call the office line and select the maintenance emergency option to be connected or to leave a message.
