I came here 3 times for side pain that ran to my back. They kept telling me it was stomach acid. They didn’t do anything but draw blood and hook me up to a I’ve for fluids. I went to center point in independence mo and it was gallstones. They instantly took me into surgery, they said it was so bad that if I would have waited any longer I could have been septic. I wouldn’t recommend it.

If I could rate 0 stars I would. My mother went in this morning with a massive headache that no amount of medication would touch, along with other worrisome symptoms. She was in tears. This was not her first time experiencing a headache like this, but it was worse because she was sick with COVID. The nurses/doctors/providers did not lay a finger on her besides putting her IV in. No physical exam at all. No one listened to her heart or lungs. No one looked in her throat. No one did a focused neuro exam. They didn't even think to work-up her severe headache. These are not abnormal things to do - especially in an emergency room. They're actually standard things a doctor should be doing. No physical exam?? That's ridiculous. I bet they charted one though, and we will be checking in her portal. Absolutely unacceptable. Do better or find a different profession that doesn't involve caring for patients.
