The owner asked our group to give a review. So our honest review is that when we first entered the restaurant it was very hot. The area they made us sit was even hotter. Their fans weren’t working. Finally she turned the AC on. We were the only ones in the restaurant and still the food took a very long to come to the table. Once the food arrived the nihari was horrible, the worst we have had. The meat was all fat, totally disgusting. The biryani was okay. The grilled platter was over priced and sucked because it had no flavor. The server was rude and seemed unhappy: and the owner was all talk despite us telling her the flaws she tried to over for the issues by blaming the vendors.

When I called to make reservations for Iftaar, I was told to order from the menu in advance. I was also asked how many Iftaar plates for $10.00 I would be ordering since that seems to be their cadence where people buy a plate of some random items, go pray Maghrib & have dinner afterwards. I told this kind gentleman that we’ll be breaking fast with dates & would like to get served dinner right after Maghrib prayers. I was also asked to get there by 7:15 to avoid anticipated rush since an event for 100 people was getting hosted as well. Long story short, we arrived on time, with no one in sight available to seat us. I went up to the kitchen door seeking assistance for my guests after patiently waiting for a few minutes. I also asked for 2 more chairs and was rudely told by the owner to hurry up since she was busy in the back, although they had failed to put the table together with the right number of chairs. I should have known better that this is just the beginning of micro aggressions I & my guests are going to be experiencing throughout the evening. I noticed that our food was already served on the table, 1/2 hour prior to us breaking fast!! Owner look frazzled & overwhelmed. As the time to break fast came, our food naturally sitting out for that long was cold, we asked the server if that could be microwaved. She first didn’t understand our ask but then told us that they were very busy but can go ask the owner. The same lady comes out & begins to literally yell at us in public with other patrons around us. In her exact words to us“ You can’t complain, we have an event going on, we could have not taken your reservations, but wanted to make sure that you are not coming to an empty table”. She said more that I can’t recall since my wife, guest were completely dumbfounded & in utmost shock that someone would have an audacity to speak to anyone like this. I mean how can anyone be so out of line interacting with their customers. Forget professionalism, how about some decency & courtesy when interacting with your paying customers. This lady then told us that she’ll see if something can be done to reheat our food but there will be nothing for us to eat in the meantime and that she is really busy with the event… LOL, surprise, surprise, she never returned to the table. I asked for Soda that got slammed on the table. I kept my cool since I was fasting otherwise her behavior warranted a coaching session. We will never return here! Madam your behavior needs to be reassessed by you not because what you do for living but as a person.

It's a best experience to visit such a pleasant restaurant after a long time. The food was very delicious and it has very beautiful banquet hall for private events. The customer service is extraordinary and i strongly recommend you to vist kababish restaurant for sure.
