I'm satisfied with my medical treatment through the salud family health center. I wish the online communication was better. I feel safe and confident in their ability to provide outstanding care. I would recommend them to friends and family of all ages. They really care about their patients and it shows.

Patient portal doesn't recognize my name and birthdate despite being a patient for about 6 years. Calling to change appointment gets 8 minutes of hold music before it just hangs up on you, but they threaten to drop you if you can't make it in without notifying them first. If you finally do get an appointment, expect to sit in an exam room for at least an hour. I'm on GP number 4 because all doctors move on to bigger and better things eventually.

I believe at the age of 16 you can tell your doctor you don’t want your parents in the room with you. With that being said you would have to pick up your own prescription and possibly pay for the birth control if you don’t have insurance/if your insurance doesn’t cover the full amount
