Stopped by for lunch for this first time and I love it! The atmosphere and staff are very friendly and the food is delicious. The meals even come with a slice of cake! The restaurant is cash only.

My 10yo daughter and I stopped by in between school pickups. We like to try new places, and a welcome mat that says "Grandma & Grandpa" let us know that our southern ancestors were smiling upon us. (NOTE: We were so enchanted by the welcome mat that we did not notice the cash only signs. The store next door has an ATM 😉) The food was so good! We had a chicken fried steak, and the meatloaf. Both were incredible! The meatloaf red sauce is so different from anything I've tried before. I will definitely be going back for more of that! The country-style veggies were just like Mamaw made. I can't rave enough about the food! Then, surprise dessert... Bless their hearts. I almost cried. But, what really put this Mom&Pop over the top were the people. Both the staff and the customers (one of whom let me know that we are family now) were so friendly, welcoming, and delightful that we almost felt like we needed to give hugs on our way out. We WILL be going back as often as possible.
