First and foremost, I would like to thank the owners of Gilcrease Orchard for what they do for the community and offering an almost free event. Parking is free, entrance is free, corn maze is free, tractor ride is free, chicken coop is also free, and im sure there is also other activities that are free. With this said, is going to be busy and there will be lines, just enjoy the process. I recommend showing up early or later in the day. Make sure to get donuts the donuts and popcorn, BEST in town. Staff was masked and if guests were not itβs because itβs an out door activity. Consider staying home if you are not comfortable. Thanks again for holding this wonderful event.

Yes, green beans, potatoes, squash all different kinds, pumpkin, apples, pomegranate, etc.
During the winter time. They should be planting some about now (post pumpkin patch) call them for harvesting time
They accept both credit cards and cash in the checkout lanes and in the food tent.
If watching carbs, stick with veggies and not kettle corn and caramel apples
I would check their website. They were selling granny smith last weekend.
They have a website. http://www.thegilcreaseorchard.org/ You can see what is ready to harvest before you go there on it. It's pretty awesome.
Yes we are open today until two o'clock
Yes they have apples available to pick all kinds, they are only open Tuesday Thursday and Saturday 7 a.m. to noon
The pumpkin patch is already open. They have many different types of pumpkins planted by the way. They are open Tues, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday 7:00a to 2:00p
They said apples were going to be ready october 2 so most likely they will
Can you list the dates each crop is available so we know when to get say, apples vs peaches and when the veggies are available?
Right now it's peaches ,melons, apricot, if there's any left, and tomato
So sorry no longer available.. Cherry Trees.. How about peaches when are. They ripe. For. Picking?

They have prices on their website.. it looked like most things were a dollar a pound.
I agree with Jim, but extra virgin is the healthiest type
Chickens in an enclosed coop. You can still walk around the vast coop enclosure and identify the different breeds of chickens, but they do not let you interract with them. If you want to learn more about bees they also have people who will talk to you about the types and breeds they use and why.
Correct, their site explicitly says "no animals". Service animals, are allowed, of course, but that does NOT include emotional support animals.
They have many chickens and rabbits
You don't need an appointment. You just get on the tractor. They come by every 15 minutes.
I think just the maze but is worth the visit just to get the fresh air
So far, we have only picked clingstone peaches here.
Go to the orchard during their business hours on Tuesday, Thursday, or Saturday; between 7 a.m. and 10 a.m., to request a job application, and return it during those hours, as well. Employment is temporary, and someone may be able answer your additional questions, in person. If hired, you will have the opportunity to help, where help is needed, which, is truly, the best place to start.
Apricots and apriums, rows 10 - 20, are delicious.
you should sign up for their emails and they will tell you what's in season every week.... it really doesn't go month by month.... they look at the plants every week and see what's ready... so far this year carrots, Armenian cucumbers, apricots zucchini summer squash garlic onions potatoes
It is no strowberry grows there.
Leafy greens like kale, carrots, radish. Their website lists it all

Don't know about that. Check their website or call and leave a message.

Of your talking about season right now would be a great time but if your referring to the actual time early in the morning is great.
Yes in October close to 15

I've visited Gilcrease for over 10 years and have never seen cherry trees or fruit offered there. Cherries do not grow well in Las Vegas it is too hot & dry here
No, sorry it's just grapes
Check the website. Hours are very seasonal
I don't ever remember them having watermelon. You can go to the website and sign up for emails. Then they will send emails letting you know what is available each week while they are open.
Andrew, thank you my friend. You have been a great help. Thank you for taking the time from your busy schedule to answer my question.
According to their website, they're open but you can only buy the things at check out and not pick anything.

Fruit will not be ready until May They will open at the end of March only on Saturdays & will have some veggies If you to the website & subscribe they will send emails with all the info
I don't think you can, they harvest the hoiney there at the orchard, I think it all depends on bee production on how much they make
They are closed for the season!
No. They are closed for the picking season. Check their website for info about their holiday "sleigh" rides w santa...the sleigh is a neat wagon pulled by a tractor
Theyre closed until their winter event in december. They will have apple cider donuts, apple cider, chili, and hot cocoa with a visit to santa and a ride through the orchard on the hayride wagon. Admission i believe os $2 each for this event.
The apple cider donuts are small and come in sets of 6 which are $3.00. I believe the half gallons of cider are $5 i believe. The small pints of cider are like $2. Please note, they are closed until december!

When in season I get.them at the orchard..also they have.them at la banita Mexican market..u have.to go through the.plum tomatoes but I have been able to get.some there..have u tried making a green tomatoes cake
I think what he meant by "what time?" is during the day they are open..like if they sell the donuts 7am to 2pm? Do they have a set time to stop making them or just till the dough is gone??
It does shut down for the winter season. I believe sometime in November. Good to keep an eye on their web site for it. They will also announce it in their newsletter, so subscribing might be helpful.
They have plastic bags you can use but reusable bags are nicer for the planet π
Usually mid October.....when you hear the Overton/Logandale pomegranate festival is going on you know they are ready
Their website will tell you the most current info but apple should be there now.

1/2 gallons, but its so Worth it. They are frozen when you buy them too, so amazing
Honey doesn't spoil but I think there sold out for the season
All done, mostly squash and pumkins. Though the squash was nearly gone last weekend.
The pumpkin patch is enormous. Kids have a lot of fun there. I always see whole families there. Lots of kids. They even have hayrides, a slow train that tours the orchard and a small haystack maze, just for the kids. There's a little barn cafe where you can have lunch and make a day of it. They cater to field trips too. There's much more than just pumpkins. A great place for a family outing.
7:00 am-2:00 pm, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
They have a huge one and you pick them right off the plant, not like the big city one's.
They're open select days Saturdays they're open I think Tuesdays and Thursdays check the website have a great day
