Susan, I saw the same thing, and actually fell for it. It is a scam website, whose PayPal account owner is apparently Chinese (Chinese name with Chinese charcters). I called PayPal to file a claim, saying purchase was a scam. The rep was helpful getting my claim set up, helping me to claim I didn'treceive the items. Chinese fake PayPal account owner had 10 days to respond and prove they were shipping what I'd paid for (no state sales tax charged, a red flag). The account owner didn't respond, so I got a refund of what I'd paid from PayPal. The scam website may be phishing for your PayPal login or stealing your credit card number. I quickly changed my PayPal login to secure my account when I realized what happened.

Most all shoes are discounted. There is an small area where the lastest styles are displayed and sold at regular prices. Employees are very helpful and will show you what is on sale. Sometimes there are offers of additional savings and employees will advise.

Yes. They even make custom shoes to fit your feet and disposition. Its also a fun place just to take the kids and mess around. They have an old style candy store and a bunch of historic memerobelia on display, including an impressive classic car collection. They also have an old school general store with number of snacks priced under a dollar to guve you that old world feeling. 10 cent soda, 50 cent ice cream, and nickel popcorn. On top of all that they also have a gift shop. Just a really good peice of San Antonio history to experience with your family, and a fun, cheap way to kill some time... They also have the most comfortable shoes you're ever gonna wear at a great price. I was born and raised in San Antonio, right here on the south side and i can't tell you how important i think it is for us to support and preserve places such as this. I believe this place represents the true spirit of our city, and stands as an icon for many of the things that helped make this city great.

Since the store is very close to the factory, it is only logical to think that they do not work nor open on Sundays. I have been there twice on weekdays. Wonderful experience!

Yes,they sell boots.They have a little building away from the main building,& they sell boots there. U might want to ask where exactly. But, the price runs up to $600 lol. I asked this Caucasian Employee if they sell boots there?(Because, I didn't see any) She said, Yes, we do & she was explaining the directions to get there & then she said, Oh, but we sell R boots 4 $600.00. I said, excuse Me? R boots here R very expensive she said. I'm like OMG, I said to myself is she implying because I'm Hispanic? Really, I told her. Ok, well I guess I take my business else where. She said, it's becuz we use real leather. I started laughing. So, I took my business else where, & I got good deals on real leather boots. Nicer than SASF. Oh, she was the lady taking care of the snack bar. I tell my son do U want a drink & some snacks b4 we leave. He said, sure. So, I was telling the lady what I wanted. She said the limit is 4. I can't sell no more than 4. But, the store is empty Isaid? Snacks R little.
