What a beautiful park this is! If you are looking to take a stroll along the river banks, this could be your place. Great views of downtown and a great place to catch the July 4th fireworks show. Come check it out some time for yourself this spring/summer/fall and tell me how sweet the air smelled and how loud the birds sang! Enjoy!

It’s a park that holds a lot of historical meaning to the Anishinaabe that is along the Grand River. I recently went there and walked along a trail that leads under a bridge and caught a Longnose Gar with my bare hands! Cool place

A nice place to take a walk in the summer while you listen to the river. During the Winter Festival I visited one of the interactive artwork displays and had some fun pressing the buttons to create different musical sounds.

Great park, any time of the year. We love what they’ve been doing with outdoor art and events.

Hm, it is a public space.. I'm thinking yes, but if not there are definitely cool places near by!
You can park in public parking space available next to Gerald Ford museum.$ 4 per day. You can walk to park from parking space though museum back.
I think the alligators are in the alley by van andel now
The firework starts at 10:25 pm but will have many more activities that will start at 4pm 5 PM, so I do not have a clear answer to your question. but if you get there at 5 when the activity starts, and enjoy the activity at the same time set aside a comfortable place for 10:30 pm. to see the fireworks.
The name, "Ah-Nab-Awen," was proposed by the Elders of the Three Fires Council and means, "Resting Place."
Yes, you can bring your dog but you are required to LEASH and CLEAN UP after your pet. Leashes must be 6ft long or shorter. https://www.kentcountyparks.org/info/faqs.php#dogs

Best bet is on the west side. Street if you can get it. Almost everyone is charging, including Burger King.
Yes, grand Rapids fireworks is Saturday 7th
I don't see nothing of movies over there
It's free a nice small park. You can spend as much time as you like. A picnic would be great there.
