Update: They charge you for just about anything to recycle. Printers: $6, ANY kind of TV, up to $60. Their price list is hidden in a pdf on the bottom of one of their webpages. Also, lots of places will PAY YOU (a little) for your junk. Just check out greencitizen.com. And non-CRT TV's are fairly easy to dissemble in a few minutes:

They have some available but they aren't going to be amazing quality. However, if you go to the 28th st store every once in a while they get a donation of some pretty ok headphones from reel to reel players or audio systems.
They do list some of their items for sale on ebay. I don't remember seeing any Mac items, but it's worth checking out. Seller name is Comprenew.

Need to call them up and tell them what you have to bring in. They have a list of no charge on some items. Then, they charge a fee for others things.
