Yes. We changed our name and updated our brand, but we're still the same hard-working, inbound marketing team you know and love. For the past few years, "The Whole Brain Group" name felt long and not representative of what we do. In 2020, our team decided that we needed a name that was better aligned with who we are and how we work. When we challenged ourselves to come up with a unique, memorable, name that summed up our energy, our dedication to one another, and our work style, we landed on Hivehouse Digital.
We do everything in-house (researching, writing, designing developing, SEO) except our paid ad services (PPC). For those, we work closely with our trusted partners at Climb Marketing who specialize in paid ad campaigns.
Hivehouse was originally known as The Whole Brain Group. We were founded in 2009 and was originally focused on website and application development. We pivoted to include inbound marketing when HubSpot started to get traction around 2011 and we've been a full-service digital marketing agency ever since! In 2021 we decided that we needed a name that was better aligned with who we are and how we work. When we challenged ourselves to come up with a unique, memorable, name that summed up our energy, our dedication to one another, and our work style, we landed on Hivehouse Digital.
We are true experts in all things HubSpot --our team holds more than 33 certifications. We're experienced with every aspect of digital marketing from content development to social media to SEO. Our team is constantly learning and taking away knowledge from each project to apply it to the next one. We have decades of cumulative marketing experience between us and have been featured speakers at both Michigan Manufacturing Association and Construction Association of Michigan events.

Nope. We do complex digital marketing programs from strategy to execution. That includes everything from foundational work on developing customer personas and buyer's journeys to brainstorming, creating and executing content marketing plans for lead generation and lead nurturing. We do, indeed plan, design, write, and develop websites very well, but it's certainly not all we do.
We mainly focus on B2B companies in manufacturing, engineering and construction and also on professional services firms. We've worked with clients in IT, accounting, automotive suppliers, pavers, water treaters and many more.
For very small or startup companies, Mailchimp might be ok. But for companies that are focused on sales enablement, sales growth, better lead intelligence, and true marketing automation - HubSpot is simply a more sophisticated, robust tool. HubSpot's real value is in the reporting - the ability to see and track marketing ROI. Mailchimp, in contrast, was not originally built for marketing automation - just to send emails. While they've since added the ability to create landing pages and workflows, the system is not intuitive and there are limitations with reporting.

We use HubSpot to track dollars and deals influenced by marketing activity - it can show us exactly how a lead came in, all of their activity and engagement across your digital platforms, and ultimately if they were closed. Connecting a CRM to HubSpot (bonus for using HubSpot's CRM!) allows us to show the full path from visitor to client, and see the ROI for our efforts.
There are some variables that will impact the number of leads you can expect to see, such as the current traffic to your website, number of lead magnets currently on your site. Once we understand those metrics, we can give you a better estimate.
Two factors affect the speed with which you can see leads increase: your current inbound marketing efforts and how much you're willing to spend to increase leads. For example, if the current status of your inbound program is that you have none- you'll have to start from scratch to build content and infrastructure and it might take up to six months before you start seeing leads coming in. If you have an existing program, it will be quicker to get new leads. If you're willing to spend a little more upfront to build out your program quickly (or enhance your existing one) that'll also cut down on the time it takes to get new leads.
