I'm sorry to say NVRH treats their VA Community Care patients with the upmost disregard. I waited over 3 months for an annual renewal form for PCP to be "researched" and processed. Instead of picking up the phone to find out what to do, it sits. I am currently waiting for a referral being researched for 2 months now. The office manager continues to use "researching" as a reason I'm waiting so long. They even cancelled an appointment while I was on my way. I made the appointment amonth after the initial request was made by phone. It was to go over what is needed. To this date, the referral request is still being "researched", stating we don't ordinarily do that. Lol. I'm treated like the only vet in the NVRH system. Taking 2-3 months for a simple 2-page referral should be unacceptable.
