Service was great. But the steak was bad enough that a review was necessary. Ordered a steak medium rare and asked more on the rare side then too cooked. Steak comes out over cooked more towards the done side with no pink to the steak. Even from the outside… you could tell the steak was well done and the knife cut was proof it was overcooked. Was hoping at least the steak might have flavor to overlook the well done steak. To no avail. It was tasteless dry steak. Clam chowder was good. Service was great…. But would never go back if I ever consider wanting steak. I should have known better when the waitress said that the cook tends to overlook everything and to order the steak on the lighter side. Didn’t make a difference apparently. SMH.

Today I visited the restaurant for the first time and the time there wasn’t pleasant. As we walked in, the server sat us on a table and I asked her nicely if we could be sat in another table that was right beside us, and she said with a rude tone that she didn’t care. I ordered 3 steaks and she right away started laughing sarcastically and I asked her why is she laughing. She said that there were a couple of steaks in another tables already. Every interaction was dry made me and my family unwelcome even though we were nice and respectful towards her all the time. We weren’t asked even once by anyone if everything was good while the tables around us were being asked frequently. We felt out of place and unwelcome. With that being said, I don’t know if it was because we were hispanics or the server was having a bad day and she decided to take it on us. The only time that she even smile at us was when we putted the tip on the table when we were ready to leave. It was our first and last time going there.

Bartender was friendly and personable. Food was plentiful and delicious. We took dessert to go and it did not dissappoint!

I was in Falmouth visiting a client a few days back and we met at this place for lunch. What a quaint, charming, and incredibly wonderful place. Those of you who know me, know that I don't use those words lightly. This place is a charming blend of eclectic rustic charm. And the food was amazingly good. I had baked scrod with nothing on it. I've had it before like that in other places and yeah you can mess it up. Not this order it was cooked to perfection. Even the baked potato was perfect. Two people plus tip was roughly about $80 yeah it's a little high, we did have a few drinks so that might have had something to do with it. (My client bought lunch. ) That said what you received makes it worthwhile. They don't rush you either. We were there for two and a half hours just talking, I do a lot of counseling work. Conclusion: Well worth the trip to get there, I was an hour away, well worth the visit. I highly recommend this establishment with five stars.
