Had to bring in a blind cat I found. Everyone there was so kind and caring. They do an amazing job helping animals.

Worst shelter bar none. You cannot just show up and ask to see an animal for adoption. You have to make an appointment but....No one to talk to on the phone to make that appointment!! Wanted to adopt a dog but can't because NO ONE EVER ANSWERS THE PHONE!!!! And you need an appointment to look at any potential adoptees. How can you make an appointment when you do not even answer your phone? I feel bad for the animals they keep locked up because these people do NOTHING to help them become adopted.

Prolly not
Yes
I've had this happen with two separate neighbors. It was occurring because they were left alone so I asked the neighbor if I could go in the yard and play with them and give them treats. But be sure to ask since so many dogs have health issues and allergies now. Good luck.
Go get an education b4 anything else Pet education is very important. Please dont kill ANY animal!!
Why is the public and not the shelter itself answering these very important questions? Animals are living beings!! The shelter in Santa Maria has a poor rep. Years back the person who lived on the property, in the back trailer got arrested, charged, & went to prison for barrels of cooked methamphetamines on that same property! Covid is just another reason to be used as why the placed is not run well.
Call the police immediately
Yes, on Thursday's they have clinics call them for the hours.
If you would like to be a foster parent, go in to the animal shelter and ask when their next foster parent seminar is. It's a couple hour long class with the foster corridater and then she'll call you when your desired foster animal is in need of you.
I know the one on foster road don't. My best bet would be to to the humain shelter on stowell. The animals are trained to know hand signals and commands.
I believe so, but call the shelter to make sure.
Google questions probably isn't the right place to be asking all this. I would actually go to the shelter and look at the dogs they have there or at least call the shelter. This dog is going to be a member of your family for a very long time, so you need to make sure you're getting the right one. If you aren't will to do those things I'd recommend reconsidering whether you are ready for a dog. Remember this isn't just picking up a new phone, it's a living animal.
my suggestion is to not buy any baby bunnies for Easter, instead if you are interested to get one, they have many young bunnies at the shelter that are very sweet in need of a good home
Can I use my Medicaid yo cover costs for neurtering
We do not offer boarding at our facility, however there are several very good dog boarding facilities nearby. Many of the local veterinary clinics offer boarding as well.
Of course! Im not sure if there's any that are adoptable right now but you can definately stop by there and take a look.

Have no idea their charge. I've taken mine to the village vet or the base.
You have to have a service animal trained in order for it to be a service animal there's no license
