Wonderful, small UU congregation in a lovely building. The people were very warm and welcoming. Rev. Bob MacDonald gave a terrific sermon about recalling the "angels we have known" to help us renew our spiritual strength so that we can continue to act for justice in the world, despite a terribly unjust war about which we can do so little, other than to help refugees. He is charismatic and humorous. The service is somewhat informal - people help each other out if they forgot some part of the service & the congregation chimes in when necessary - and the Worship Associate was welcoming, dignified, and moving in her reading. The music is provided by a fantastic, professional cellist who accompanies herself with recorded piano - or a recording of herself - today's prelude was a beautiful cello duet and she closed with Saint-Saens' The Swan. Masks & vax required for now, which helps me to feel safe. I'm only here for a week but would definitely return!!
