VIVINT OVERCHARGES AND DOES NOT GIVE EXPLANATIONS OR REFUNDS THE MONEY! THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EXPERIENCED IN MY WHOLE LIFE! Vivint representatives cannot explain simple questions about billing, they even get frustrated and hang up on clients. I was overcharged by $175 on the month of July and no one can give me an explanation. When they see that they are wrong, they don't even offer a solution, but hang up and that's it, you have to call again for the same thing to happen again and again.

Do not, under any circumstances, sign up with Vivint. I spent three years in Afghanistan and would sooner spend my summer vacation there than ever interact with this company again. I have been trying to cancel this service for months and months. At first my only annoyance was with the little hidden and ridiculous costs. But after trying to cut back on costs and end my agreement I cannot believe the hoops they make you jump through. If you are not an attorney or someone that keeps owner manuals and agreements printed out, in a Ziploc bag, and in an accordion file then you are probably going to struggle too. Do not get Vivint. They are a horrible company with deceptive practices and to be honest the security system sucked too. The alarm went off several times while we were away, for no understandable reason, and since they were unable to contact us they reached out to the police. The police never showed up, so what is the point?

I wish I could give no stars. Justin has been absolutely the worst to work with. He lied about pricing was told no more than 75 dollars and then he said no more than 100 and that should have been the first red flag…. But now I am paying almost $150. He refuses to answer my calls and text. I have been trying to cancel the service since the end of July and every time I call to try and cancel they say they need Justin’s approval to cancel my service. The quality of the cameras is trash it takes forever to look back at footage and our lights now have such a long delay time, and worst of all they still haven’t installed all the equipment they said I would Be getting. Stick with RING !

I had the same issue I live in California and my call was routed to Columbia also. It was very hard communicating with female on the line.
Try changing the schedule in the thermostat settings. You should even be able to turn of the schedule from there. that should take care of it.
