Sure wish they'd reinvest in the place. I suppose it's a good thing that they're still around after covid but check it out and know what you're getting before you go there. Your experience may be ok but there were problems with the electrical power during the 2021 AirVenture week. Their "grid" seemed unable to support the load from the number of campers and RVs hooked up to it. Amps kept falling off. Sometimes we could get one AC unit to work for a while then it would quit. Not great when the week starts out hot & humid and you're expecting to get the electricity you're paying for. Can't say for sure but our other AC unit seemed to work fine before we stayed there but wouldn't even start up when we tried it alone while we were there. Did the voltage and amp fluctuation fry it? Don't know but I do know we've got a repair bill on the horizon. Probably wouldn't have even written this review if they would have just apologized or offered a partial refund or even offered to move us. We expect to be back to AirVenture but we've been to Circle R for the last time. Hopefully the owners take these comments in the spirit with which they're offered so they can make a few important improvements for the future. If they do it'll likely pay off for them.

Has wifi, .17mbps down, 0.07mbs up....useless. This was typical, not a fluke. Got upgraded to a 30 amp slot, only to find it completely useless as it often was <100 volts. Good way to burn up an ac compressor. Again not a fluke, everyone I talked to had the same problem. Campground was ~half full, during the EAA show....for a reason. Last bus from the show was 9pm, even though the lady at checkin said they would be running later. 9 other people were stuck there with us. They had major events going until 10. Went to dump the tanks on the way out....the dump was full to the top. Even the fresh water hose leaked. I wouldn't go into the bathroom if my life depended on it. Great location. Maybe someone that cares will buy it someday, and I'll try it again. Until then......I'll stay anywhere else, no matter how far away.

Basic campground. Clean, very nice hosts. We were only there for a night and it was just 2 adults, so fine for us. We we're lucky as the big Air Show was getting ready to start, but she did find us a spot. Looked like they had a shuttle for Oshgosh Air Show, so that is something to keep in mind if you are interested. Need to make your reservation WAY ahead!!
