Most of the good reviews are from people who work here, yikes. My 2 cents as a licensed contractor. If you are going to buy a house or have bought a house from Lennar, all i can say is God bless you. Lennar contracts the cheapest possible workers for every portion of construction. This means corners are often cut to meet budgets. From the foundation to the roof, it is the lowest grade of construction possible meeting only the minimum requirements to pass inspections. Apart from the poor quality of construction, their questionable business practices range from pushing their own lenders onto the buyers to crippling small businesses by demanding lower and lower prices under the threat of being cut from the bidding process (while still selling their houses at or above market value, isn’t that awesome.)

English: I bought a new house with them in the community of Horse Creek in Davenport, Florida and it has many problems: The roof is super bad, The front door is showing light, The back door is not well sealed, It is missing a lamp in the back, air ducts are not properly placed, there is a damaged bathroom cabinet due to a water leak and the garage is still poorly painted. I had to hire an inspector from the state of Florida who told me that the house is not finished yet. This is the time I already paid for the house and they have not delivered the house to me in good condition. Not even Lennar Homes has called me to show me the house for the first time. Very bad customer service. Also the water faucet we can notice where they should fix the wall. Very poor quality control. I'm losing money because I can't rent the house. I can't believe a new house has so many problems. I hope that Lennar Homes will do something soon to fix it and give me compensation since I am losing money by not being able to rent it. I also had to pay for an inspection out of pocket which cost me $335 on a new property. This company is a mess im a new owner in miami Verdana landing i had a leak before acceptance of the house and they told me that was fix well after i sign the leak started to leak and now i have being waiting for 2weeks going to 3 weeks and they have not sent a plumber yet this is after multiples complain and calls to community manager. I will never recommend lennar to anybody is just a mess not quality control at all they just care that you find the mistakes and sign after that you are doom.look at this lights with not cables at all (check picture) and a patch in a leak instead of replace is a joke) half a million homes and putting patches.

The absolute worst. I finally understand people who wish for zero or negative stars because this is how I feel about Lennar. If you are thinking about buying a home from them, don’t do it.
