I ate at the restaurant attached to the lodging, so I can’t speak for the cottages. Our server was really nice and the food was pretty good. We sat outside on the excellent patio where we had a great view of the lake while eating. I’ve driven by this place many times, but this was my first visit. Glad I stopped in!

The location was amazing easy to get to the snow or enjoy time on the lake. My family was so comfortable everything was arranged great the cottage was definitely cozy and everything you'd want in a getaway!

We enjoyed our stay in cabin #7. I'd describe the cabin, as cozy. Exactly what their website pictures looked like. We loved the awesome view of the lake, and the patio is a perfect place to sit and relax with 2 chairs & a firepit. Friday night was pretty quiet. Saturday night we could hear some good music playing from the restaurant patio. It was loud enough to hear from inside our room, but by no means bothersome. We enjoyed the vibe. By about 9:30ish, we noticed the music had stopped and it was back to silence. Our trip was cut short for personal reasons, but we'll definitely stay here any chance we get. I'd definitely recommend Cabin #7!

Schitts Creek would be nicer. If I could give this a zero star I would. Do not be fooled by one nice image while the rest of the cabins are shacks. This is a step up from sleeping in a tent. The accommodations were awful! The 50 year green boat carpet smelled and was stained, the bedding was old, no towels matched, mishmash utensils, no door on closet and our view was the lovely back of the restaurant with all of it fans, pipes and debri. They said we had a lake view? Parking was difficult as other guests set up camp to cook outside. Noisy...and the like. I wore shoes the entire time in the unit. We were overcharged for the wrong room and had to settle that. Grateful I brought my own blankets. Above all else we had to clean even after paying a cleaning fee. On a positive note the staff is simply wonderful. I wish they had the money to invest in this property wisely, because the location is great, but the accommodations are not.
