I've been dealing with Insight for almost a year now, and I simply cannot give them enough praise. The staff is knowledgeable, and if they don't have an answer, they do the work to get one. The store itself is well kept, and the range is equally so. They are super safety minded, and ensure that everyone is aware of what they expect of people on the range. Which is why I am baffled by some of the reviews left here, stating that "I am upset they spoke to me about being unsafe" What do you expect? The staff has everyone's safety in their hands, and I wouldn't expect anything less when it comes to issues being corrected! I feel very safe shooting there, and would recommend them HIGHLY!

Really in all seriousness, it's really a poor business model to treat paying customers like they are beneath you. If you are a firearms instructor and you see something that goes against your house rules approaching your customers with a little class goes a long way to establishing a good working relationship and goes a long way to having them come back and spend more money. I know not hard to grasp right? So if as a customer you like to be treated this way after spending your hard earned money, go no further than coppers star in camp verde they have cheaper range time and about the same distance from dewey south. 100 yard rifle range and a smile that greets you. Enjoy!

Hi Curtis, Yes! We have a great try before you buy program. Rentals are $12 for one gun, $19 for one caliber, and $29 to shoot all the handgun calibers in the rental case. You must purchase our ammo the day of rental. If you purchase the gun from us the same day as the test fire we waive the rental fee altogether! Hope to see you soon!

Yes, you can shoot steel cased ammo in your own firearms. However we require our range ammo be used in our rental guns and we don't allow steel case in those.
Range fees are $20 for the 1st shooter per lane and $12 for each additional shooter sharing the same lane. Max 3 shooters per lane. We don't currently charge by the hour, so our range time is unlimited per visit. Shoot as long as you want while you remain at the facility! We look forward to seeing you soon! We allow children as young as 8 to shoot on our range with a parent or legal guardian. Eligibility is also based on the emotional maturity and behavior of the child at the time of the visit and is up to the RSO's discretion. The shooter must also be tall enough to see and reach over the shooting bench.
Current rates are $19 per lane and $10 per additional shooter sharing the same lane, up to 3 shooters per lane. Lane visits are currently by the visit, so you may stay and shoot as long as you wish!
