Incredible free campground with picnic tables and fire pits. We were heading north to Crater Lake and this was our home for the night. Pretty empty for a Saturday night in august. Just bring bug spray because the mosquitoes are absolutely heinous.

Says no overnight camping. There is trash in one corner of the campground and a large signed saying “condemned”. There also appears to be some questionable long term camping going on on the road to the campsite. Did not feel safe and did not stay. Would not recommend.

Closed in April even though it's a perfect time to camp. I wish the Google maps listing said the open/closed times before I drove here! There seem to be camp spots outside of the actual campground. Mediocre camp spot

Place rots. People living there. As soon as you drive in there is a trailer on the right with trash and junk all around. Not pleasing at all. 5 spots. 4 filled with numerous tents, camper with 5 dogs, another with numerous tents and a teepee. Empty spot was across from junk yard trailer.

I was told it's ok to swim in but not to drink. Lots of Mosquitoes!
Yes, great place for dogs.
Only in the late spring early summer.... There is fungus that grows in the lake that can kill you once the temperatures get really high as there is no water flowing into this lake it is mostly snow melt.
It is a large creek, but yes you can!! You need to filter your water there unless you have a big rig and bring your own!
