Miramar Florida Spirit airlines auto debits my Visa acct annually for $69.95 When I call my BofA Visa they say Miramar office claims they have a signed “Visa Debit” slip on hand. However upon demand they never forward proof to my BofA‼️ Classic corporate powers screwing the ‘Average’ guy. My wife used my visa for their luggage rip off several years ago 🤷🏽♂️

Excellent Airline for the cost. There is a reason as to why they are known as an ultra low cost carrier. 95% of the flights I have done within the last few months were on time. Their planes are relatively new and the Crews are wonderful. Safety and Reliability are at the top of my lists.

The worst airline I have ever flown on. One way from FLL to Philadelphia they charged me $79 for a carry-on bag because half of the wheels didn't fit in the El Cajon they have to measure which one they charge and which one they don't. They don't even give you water on the plane. A bottle of water they charge $3.5. On the way back a delay of 3 and a half hours, they did not even offer an apology. Terrible company. Do yourself a favor and travel with another company

Did you all find out any answers? I just found out that when you sign up for the $9 fee to get your luggage fee cheaper, in the small print they charge you $69.95 per year!! Go onto the website and you can cancel your "membership". Probably won't get your charged amount back, though. I got charged two years in a row before I noticed. Is it a scam? Maybe a legal scam.
No problem! You may want to back track and think about whether you've booked travel for anyone else using your card as well. It's possible that the renewal may be for a relative/friend.
You probably joined their discount fare club in the past. They automatically renew it each year at $69.95. Their policy is to allow you to cancel it, but you can't get any money back. No prorate and benefits end when you cancel. Stinks!
Please write to Spirit.com/help, sounds like you enrolled in the $9 Fare Club at least a year ago.

I work for the airlines and they all have the same policy. 10-15 min before departure time they can close the flight out and you can miss it. They can't and won't close it out before then. Hope that helps.
I got charged $70 as well. I dispute the charge on my cc as a charge no authorized. You should do the same.
