This place is great! I’m trying to avoid ACL reconstruction, and Bill was very straightforward on how I could do just that after an assessment on my knee. He gave me simple and effective exercises to strengthen the area, along with some progressions to master, before I return for more aggressive treatment. And it’s working! Definitely a place you can trust if you’re having any orthopedic issues.

I recently had the need for a physical therapist as a result of a back injury and went to the Weston office. After many visits to various physicians, it was suggested I visit a physical therapist. Following much research, I went to Aires. It was an amazing experience. The knowledge and quality of the therapists is beyond exceptional and the empathy they have for their patients ranks among the highest I have encountered. It was suggested that needling might be a good treatment. Well, Dr. Bill Kelley, at Aires, provided the treatment and the results were beyond my wildest expectations. Months of discomfort disappeared and life returned to normal. They are life savers-a true find. In my opinion they are the Four Seasons and the Ritz of the physical therapy world.

I have degenerative disc disease which has caused me daily pain for years. I, of course, added to my issues when I fell and tore my rotator cuff and destroyed over 7.6cm (3+inches) of muscle. My doctor told me the surgery would require extended recovery time and would be really painful. He suggested that I try a month of physical therapy before the surgery. I have been seeing Dr. Joshua Conner at Aries; he put me on a progressive program that is designed to build up the rest of the arm and shoulder. At this point, when I returned for my follow up after a month of three a week sessions my doctor was so impressed with my progress he suggested that I stick with the PT and may be able to even avoid the surgery if I continued to improve at that level. I went from not being able to raise my arm away from my side to getting through my day easily and returning to my regular activities due to my increased range of motion! Josh knows his business. Albeit always friendly he is keenly aware of his patient's abilities and progress. Josh customized the workouts being aware of my back issues as well as getting me to move that shoulder. Thanks to Josh and Aries I am delighted to report the surgery is now off the table!! I can't say enough about the excellent care and attention to detail. I HIGHLY recommend anyone who may need help to check them out for the precision work as well as the friendly atmosphere.

Questions & Answers

What are OON benefits you refer to in another question you answered? I'm confused why I should come see you instead of the cheaper physical therapists that are on my health plan.

OON stands for Out of Network and it refers to the benefits you have when going to a provider who isn't contracted to accept the ever decreasing rates your insurance company pays whichever physical therapy practice you go to. By not being a slave to these rates we can maintain a lower volume of patients to provide more attention to each patient we do see. This leads to better care at each session and a faster time to recovery. Most people have a busy schedule and are limited in the time they can spend at therapy. Coming to us will save you that valuable time and ensure that you get better as fast as possible. Where an in network practice sees patients an average of 20-30 visits per injury, we have been able to consistently get our patients better in 10-15 visits in most cases.

I've gone to a handful of physical therapists the past 6 months and none can fix me. Why do you think you'll be able to do a better job?

A lot of other physical therapists are in a setting where they have multiple patients at once, are limited on time and attention they can give to your evaluation and tend to only focus on the tests that they can do quickly and easily that are at the area where the injury is. Many injuries are a result of a different area altogether (think knee pain that is coming from a hip problem). At Aries Physical Therapy our evaluations are more comprehensive and uncover a greater amount of contributing factors. We also pride ourselves on being fully up to date on the current research so we are capable of thinking outside the box to uncover the issue at hand. This results in greater outcomes for our patients and a higher success rate in fixing the injuries you come to us with. Lastly, we also work closely with the best specialists in the area to get you to the best possible providers when the issue isn't a physical therapy problem after all.

Is it more expensive to go to your practice than other ones in my area?

More often than not it is actually cheaper overall. Many insurance plans have pretty similar benefits in and out of network once your deductible is hit so those costs will average out. Where the difference is really made is with the time you save coming to us since we are a high-end clinic providing more personalized care. If your per visit cost is 10% higher but you reduce your number of visits by 30% you save money overall.

If I don't know what is wrong, will the Physical Therapist be able to figure out my injury / problem?

In most cases, yes. Our Doctors of Physical Therapy our very skilled evaluators and given their comprehensive knowledge of anatomy and biomechanics they can usually tell you exactly what tissues are damaged, what is leading to your pain as well as how to correct it. In cases where you do need further testing we have an extensive network of other medical professionals so we can send you to other top practitioners to get exactly what you need without wasting time.

Do I need a referral from my doctor to come see you??

Carly Bogart | Sep 25, 2019
Aries Physical Therapy | Sep 25, 2019

You do not! In the state of Florida you can see a physical therapist for up to 30 days without a prescription. This is called direct access. This allows you to skip a step in the process and speed up your recovery by getting treated sooner.

Do they accept insurance?

Carly Bogart | Sep 25, 2019
Aries Physical Therapy | Sep 25, 2019

We accept PPO plans from most major insurance companies as well as medicare and Tricare. We utilize your OON benefits in order to decrease your cost of care whenever possible. For those patients without OON benefits that still want to receive top level we also have single visit rates and package rates available.

Is there free parking?

Josh Meyer | Sep 25, 2019
Aries Physical Therapy | Sep 25, 2019

Yes, off of 12th Ave there is a parking garage with free first floor parking for clients/patients. There are also metered spaces along 12th and 11th Ave.

This is for a project, what’s the client population? What are the insurances accepted?and, What’s the history of the organization? I really really like this organization and the way you guys treat the patients/clients patients

Andreina Perez | Sep 24, 2021
Aries Physical Therapy | Oct 29, 2021

We treat a population of orthopedic, sports and neurological patients across an age of 5 years old and above. We accept Medicare, Tricare and all PPO insurance plans. The company began as a private practice, physical therapist owned company in 2019. Since our inception we have grown from 1 to 5 clinics and are working to bring high level care to as many communities as possible.
