We ate breakfast and got the skillets and omelettes in our group. Everything was served fresh and hot. The wait staff was very efficient and attentive.

Absolutely dreadful. The kraut balls which are a signature appetizer of timbers had been fried at noon and reheated in the microwave at seven and served shortly there after. The loaded fries were the same thing, cold, nasty with plastic cheese. The fries hadn’t been in a deep fryer since they left the factory in Idaho. The service was equally as terrible no offer was made to bring a different menu item or refund any charges. The wait just to get drinks was over the top. I’ve gone to Timbers many, many times and it’s always been satisfactory. This time marks my last time of ever going. Oh and by the way, a not very good prime rib is $52 with surly service and no smile

We ate here after stopping for the night on a long road trip. The restaurant has a rustic feel and I wasn’t really sure what to expect. We got the appetizer called cheesy bread. It was delicious! Like a combination of garlic bread and mozzarella sticks. I have never had anything like it. It was gooey and garlicky, and crispy on the outside. Also got the breaded pork sandwich because I read this was an Indiana specialty. Also delicious! My son got the burger and said it was good. The servers were nice and the food came out fast even though it was a Saturday night.

The food is ok. Sometimes even pretty good. We've eaten here several times, with years between visits, because the service is almost always bad. We once waited 45 minutes just to get our check. This time I did a carryout order because I thought the service couldn't possibly be an issue. I was mistaken. I tried to order over the phone, but I was put on hold. Not even truly on hold mind you, just the phone was laid down, so I could hear all the din from the restaurant...for 10 minutes, then the phone hung up. I drove to the restaurant and went in to place my order. I expected they were terribly busy and that must be why I was left hanging. No, there was one table occupied and one guy at the bar. The server forgot I was waiting on the line. I ordered and had to sit there waiting on the food. When I got home and everyone started eating, one bite into my burger, that was supposed to be cooked medium, and I had to stop. It was rare, like you squeeze the burger and blood pours out. I had to nuke it in the microwave a couple times before it would stop oozing blood. I doubt I will go back.

We have an extensive menu. None of our meats or seafood are seasoned until we cook them. Just tell your server no seasoning.
