Next time I have an emergency I will risk my life and drive to DeKalb before I go back to this emergency room. The end of May I was having really really bad pains in my stomach, they would give me something for pain and send me home once the pain medicine wore off , the pain continued. After 4 visits to the ER they decided to do your emergency gallbladder surgery that next morning. I just want to say that the ER staff one nurse in particular her name is Cheyenne. Rudest nurse I've ever met in my life, she seen me she would roll her eyes. I did not feel welcome at all. At one point she told me I needed to "cut it out", the way I was acting. If you have had gallbladder stones you would know what I'm talking about, I was an extreme amount pain. The next morning after surgery I was told that I had many gallbladder stones and my gallbladder was inflamed. I'm not going to sit here and say Cameron hospital is a bad hospital because of one nurse, because once I left the ER and got up to the surgical medical floor I think it was the third floor, those nurses were beyond beyond amazing. But I will definitely drive to DeKalb emergency department before I go back to Cameron memorial hospital

They make you wait an hour in the waiting room then they make you wait and hour in a bed in the hall way they don't really treat privacy well my wife may have had a confusion and they intake you like property and forget your even there. This hospital is not equipped to handle very much. Wich is sad it's a new hospital IF YOU CAN AVOID THIS HOSPITAL

I delivered my baby here via c-section.This being my 2nd baby and having a birth experience elsewhere before, I can say that the experience here is superior to other options. My routine visits throughout my pregnancy were a warm and wonderful experience and I cannot say enough good things about my labor and delivery experience with the birthing center. The nurses were amazing- kind, knowledgeable, and true patient advocates. The assistance I received with breastfeeding was not abrasive but instead, supportive, relaxed, and helpful. The pain management post-section was far superior to my prior experience. The L&D staff is truly wonderful and you are not just a number here. The postpartum rooms are comfortable and spacious. I have no complaints and I would recommend Cameron to anyone deciding where to deliver with full confidence that their experience would be amazing.

I have been a patient in many hospitals including Mayo Clinic, and the care I received at Cameron exceeded them all from a caring staff to Dr Branden, an excellent surgeon. He even followed up calling me at home to see how I was progressing. This hospital is a jewel, and I thank you all!
